In the closing months of World War II, Americans found themselves facing a new and terrifying weapon: kamikazes -- the first men to use airplanes as suicide weapons.

By the beginning of 1945, American pilots were shooting down Japanese planes more than ten to one. The Japanese had so few metals left that the military had begun using wooden coins and clay pots for hand grenades. For the first time in 800 years, Japan faced imminent invasion. As Germany faltered, the combined strength of every warring nation gathered at Japan's door. Desperate, Japan turned to its most idealistic young men -- the best and brightest college students -- and demanded of them the greatest sacrifice.

On the morning of May 11, 1945, days after the Nazi surrender, the USS Bunker Hill -- a magnificent vessel that held thousands of crewmen and the most sophisticated naval technology available -- was holding at the Pacific Theater, 70 miles off the coast of Okinawa.

At precisely 9:58 a.m., Kiyoshi Ogawa radioed in to his base at Kanoya, 350 miles from the Bunker Hill, "I found the enemy vessels." After eighteen months of training, Kiyoshi tucked a comrade's poem into his breast pocket and flew his Zero five hours across the Pacific. Now the young Japanese pilot had located his target and was on the verge of fulfilling his destiny. At 10:02.30 a.m., as he hovered above the Bunker Hill, hidden in a mass of clouds, Kiyoshi spoke his last words: "Now, I am nose-diving into the ship."

The attack killed 393 Americans and was the worst suicide attack against America until September 11. Juxtaposing Kiyoshi's story with the stories of untold heroism of the men aboard the Bunker Hill, Maxwell Taylor Kennedy details how American sailors and airmen worked together, risking their own lives to save their fellows and ultimately triumphing in their efforts to save their ship.

Drawing on years of research and firsthand interviews with both American and Japanese survivors, Maxwell Taylor Kennedy draws a gripping portrait of men bravely serving their countries in war and the advent of a terrifying new weapon, suicide bombing, that nearly halted the most powerful nation in the world.

Not worth it
Style: Medium Room Air Purifier
Disappointed in this air purifier. Doesn't seem to keep the air clean. Air filter needs to be replaced more often than other air purifiers. Unfortunately I can't return this product. Would not recommend this. Buy a Levoit air purifier instead. Works much better and filter doesn't need to be replaced as often.

Excellent Performance and Very Easy to Change Filter
Style: Medium Room Air Purifier
Very happy with this air purifier! It works really well and you can actually feel the air getting cleaner after running it for a while. It’s quiet, simple to use, and perfect for a medium-sized room. What I especially love is how easy it is to replace the filter. No complicated steps — just open, swap, and done in minutes. Super convenient and stress-free. For the price, the quality is surprisingly good. Definitely worth it, and I would buy again.

Works as intended, but is badly designed
Style: Medium Room Air Purifier
This air purifier is great so far. I've only had it set up for about a day, but it seems to me that the air is cleaner so far. I got it for my office, mostly to make sure that there's less dust in the air because my allergies have been going crazy recently. The downside of this product is that the manual is just completely wrong. Both the manual + the box say to turn the bottom lid counterclockwise to open. However, I tried that and literally could not open it for the life of me. When I looked closer, I saw that there were pins holding the lid in place, and that the only place they could move was to the right - which meant turning the lid clockwise, not counter-clockwise. That wasted 15 minutes of my time trying to figure out, because clockwise didn't work either until I wiggled it. Likely the plastic surrounding the air filter was caught in the lid. Like another reviewer mentioned, the bottom lid where the filter goes doesn't really stay on tight, which is annoying. It took me a few tries to be able to put it down without the lid coming loose and the filter falling out. It's light in weight but very loud, at least when it comes to being on high (full blast). Medium is tolerable, low is preferable for whenever I'm meeting with a client. Sometimes I even turn it all the way off. It was maybe worth the price? We'll see if it helps my allergies.

Cable management
Size: 1/2inch x 164ft, Color: Black
Used for cable management. It's really good for bundling cat5 and cat6. But I doubt it would be very good for towing a truck. Maybe use rope or a chain... I don't know I'm not a cop.
