2017 Gather: An ISU Alumni Glass Exhibition CatalogThe exhibition is a survey of the diverse range of artwork from the graduates of the Illinois State Universitys Studio Glass program. As the curator of this show, I chose artists who had a profound impact on my creative process while I was at ISU. The artists are in various stages of their personal and professional lives and each artist has been influential in sharing and exchanging knowledge that keeps ISU glass growing. The exhibition is a survey of the diverse range of artwork from the graduates of the Illinois State UniversityÕs Studio Glass program. As the curator of this show, I chose artists who had a profound impact on my creative process while I was at ISU. The artists are in various stages of their personal and professional lives and each artist has been influential in sharing and exchanging knowledge that keeps ISU glass growing. The title ÒGatherÓ is an homage to John Miller, our instructor and mentor, where ÒGatherÓ refers to the strong bond and community shared between the artists who have graduated from the ISU Studio Glass Program.
