"Project One": a Velut Luna record project born from the friendship and long-standing musical and artistic collaboration of Maestro Marco Lo Muscio with three iconic names in Progressive and contemporary music: David Jackson, John Hackett, and Steve Hackett.
The project is a grand tribute, with totally acoustic arrangements, to the various styles of great 20th-century and contemporary music. The basic structure sees the gothic and symphonic sound of the pipe organ amalgamated with the power of David Jackson's saxophones. Steve Hackett's guitar and John Hackett's flute add the final touch in some special arrangements created specifically for this record project.
The chosen composers come from the world of 20th-century and contemporary music (Benjamin Britten, György Ligeti, Aaron Copland, George Martin, and Marco Lo Muscio), film scores (Wojciech Kilar), modern Jazz (Jan Garbarek), and Progressive music (King Crimson, Genesis, Van Der Graaf Generator, Emerson Lake & Palmer, Pink Floyd, David Jackson, and Steve Hackett). Listening to these pieces in an acoustic key will reveal new nuances and details; one will also understand how Progressive music interpreted in this way is actually very close to and influenced by 20th-century classical music.
Finally, the well-known high quality of Marco Lincetto's
Velut Luna recordings will offer an incredible sound range when listening to this original and unique record project!

A freaky adolescent rush of fun and horror
Format: Kindle
This is a series that wears it's inspirations proudly on it's sleeve (mainly the early aughts toonami block) and isn't afraid to show how much it loves them. The amazing creature visuals are perfect amounts of gorgeous and grotesque, complimented wonderfully by these quiet slice of life scenes that feel intimate and human. READ THIS, I BEG YOU!!!

A Experience to Be Read
Format: Paperback
I bought the first issue when the series debuted but couldn't afford to continue. So I'm glad I found this volume 1 trade paperback. On first read, it has a few inspirations from Japanese manga from panel layouts to manga/anime character tropes. That being the case, it carves its own identity as a romance story between a normal orphan boy and a centuries old vampire and their daily lives in an alternate history USA. I like mash-up of different cultures from German and Japanese to Spanish and English including the music, the written languages, and other aspects. Nights has a vibe not everyone will like off bat, but I'll will vouch that anyone should give it a try.

Overwhelming Great!
Format: Paperback
This was mind blowingly good. Haven’t read anything in a long time where every character’s backstory was so well written and interesting. The story rocks, it’s almost overwhelming. I will be on the hunt for the individual issues because there’s no way I’m waiting for the next trade paperback.

Format: Kindle
Interesting characters that you are immediately invested in, strange world, super fun and witty writing/dialog. You’ll really enjoy this one. Genre? Mmm alternate past/present Florida with a quirky horror bent? Just read it. You’ll thank me. :D
